Wildfang (pronounced "Vilfong") is from our German heritage, brought to the United States in about 1734 where our ancestors settled in Berks County, PA known as "Pennsylvania Dutch" country although the people were mostly of German origin. It is with great pride that we chose Wildfang as our kennel name.
The kennel Wildfang has been in existence for seven years. Though we are relatively new, our goal has always been to breed fine, pure European lineage German Shepherds. The past seven years have been spent in acquiring healthy, well-bred German Shepherds that are representative of the breed standard which we want to perpetuate.
Dogs and animals of all kinds have always been in our lives but the German Shepherd captured our eye and heart with it's beauty, intelligence, grace and loyalty.
We hope you will enjoy looking around our site and will come back often as we plan to provide information on the German Shepherd as a dog as well as training in the sport of Schutzhund, as well as AKC training.
